Today Michael is two weeks old (already) and he is doing so well. He is no longer on any IV fluids so his PICC line will be removed within 24-48 hours. He is up to 24cc's of breastmilk every 3 hours - he is either fed via his feeding tube or a combination of bottle, feeding tube or breast feeding.
Michael also had his very first bath today - a sponge bath given by the nurse with mommy by his side - he enjoyed it and then we put on his first preemie onesie!
Michael is now considered a "feeder-grower" since his IV is out and he is not a sick baby his main goal is to eat and grow :)
