Good news this morning, Michael's a.m. xray was very good so they decided to start feedings again. He received his first dose of 3cc's of breast milk at 8am and will be fed every 3 hours and it will increase slowly. They will watch his belly, how much he digests and his diaper to see how well he is handling the food again. Last night was his last dose of caffeine as well and they will discontinue the antibiotics he was on for the supsected NEC. We are really hoping within a week he'll be transfered back to the hospital close to home.
Michael is now weighing 3 punds 8 ounces!
