Today is Michael's first holiday. Mommy was able to come home today (finally) and she's feeling better. Michael is weighing in at 2lbs 15 ounces!
Today is a big day as far as mommy and daddy are concerned as Michael is off of any air support at all. He is breathing totally on his own. He has also been digesting the feedings (3 cc's) of breast milk he started yesterday....today he goes to an every three hour "hands-on" schedule so he'll be getting fed breast milk every 3 hours!!! One of his nurses put a bottle nipple in his mouth earlier today and fed him the milk via the nipple....he was able to suck the nipple and drank it all :)
